HISTORY:

In the spring of 1996, my Student Council officers gave me my first Shropshire lamb as they were about to graduate. Steve bought me a second one so that it wouldn't be lonely. We named them Hannah and Helga. That same year we added a few more lambs and a buck and we lambed in an old chicken house. My head still has the scars to prove it.  A few years later the hogs left the farm  and the sheep expanded into the other barns on the farm and the old chicken house was removed. We have culled heavily and have a young flock. The last two years we have limited ourselves to 55 ewes.  We feel that this is what our lambing barn can handle.  We have recently retired from teaching and can now dedicate more of our time to the care of our flock.  Feel free to come and visit.
